Mobee: Survey

Mobee users, check your email for a short survey.  They are offering free points to take it and it only lasts a few minutes.

Pampers Gifts to Grow: 60 points

Now that's a nice way to start off the new year!  Go here and enter:

Kellogg's: 40 points

Taking lessons from the airlines, Kellogg's Family Rewards rejiggered its web site and actually made it more difficult to use.  40 points here for the following two codes:

Disney movie rewards: five points

And the next code is... (drumroll please): CTC24VY!  The winner should come up and collect their five points.

And we're back! Disney Movie Rewards: five points

And we're back!  It will be a slow ramp but I'll catch up.  In the meantime, today's five point DMR code is CTC23EM.  Enjoy!

Out of Office notice until 12/23

Hi guys,

So I will be gone with no internet access until 12/23.  There will probably be Disney points every day after noon, so please don't forget those.  Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see some Recyclebank or Pampers points for the holidays, so make google your friend.  Have a great week!

Disney Movie Rewards: 5 points

Here you go! CTC128

Disney Movie Rewards: 5 points

Sorry all, was out for a family emergency over the past couple of days.  But I'm back, and today's 5 point code is CTC11E.

Disney Movie Rewards: 5 points

Love these five point codes.  Today's is CTC91B.  Enter it here.

Plink: Earn free points for everyday spend in stores (easy)

I may be the last blogger to write about Plink, mostly because I don't have a lot of experience with it, but in case you have been living under a rock without blogs, here it is.  It's actually a pretty good program.

It's also a simple program: They give you a list of participating merchants.  You attach your credit card to your plink account (only one card, but I believe you can change it).  Whenever you buy something at one of the merchants, they give you points based on how much you spent.  The points can be traded in for gift cards, miles, etc.  My experience with them has been good.  Think of it as the dining for miles type programs, except that it's shopping for points.

Note: You can still get your credit card bonuses in addition to the Plink points.  For instance, if you use a Chase Ink card at Staples, you will get your Plink points in addition to 5X UR points.

I really like these programs where there is no downside.  And yes, I do receive a referral bonus if you sign up using my link here-I get 100 points, which I think is worth a dollar, which will go a long way toward rounding out my collection of Phineas and Ferb dolls.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 25 points

25 points and a nice holiday message.  Unless you don't like your family.

Go to KFR and enter code HOLIDAYSTOGETHER.

Disney Movie Rewards: 15 points

One of the nice things about Fridays in December is that Disney gives a weekend code, meaning you get 15 points and have all weekend to enter it.  Might as well do it now.  Code is CTC678ED.

Starbucks: Free $5 gift card for Verizon or AT&T customers

From our friends at Hunt4freebies, check out this link to Ting, which promises to offer better pricing on cell phone service and is giving you a $5 Starbucks gift card to find out.

Speaking of Starbucks, I'm in pretty good shape to have gone the whole year having paid only $5 out of pocket for my Starbucks (I bought a $5 Groupon for $10 of coffee and will likely end the year with more than the original $5 on my card.  Does that count?).  The biggest providers of my free coffee were Mobee, Shopkick and Checkpoints, in that order.

Ibotta: CVS and movies added

I consider Ibotta the weakest of the three programs mentioned in this post, given the limited network of merchants, but they added a few movie theater chains and CVS today, which broadens things up a bit.  Only certain movies will get you cash, but it's worth a peek.

Disney Movie Rewards: Five points

Today's code is CTC5BD.  Enjoy it while you can!

My Points: Easy free stuff

If you haven't signed up for MyPoints already, this is a good time to do so.  MyPoints is your typical pay to click, pay to take surveys, etc. type site, but it does have the benefit of sending you occasional emails that you just have to click on for five free points.  I value points at a penny apiece.

Today is the last day of the "Holiday Spin 'n Win" game, which gives you free points for spinning their prize wheel once per day.  MP has promotions like this one often, so free points are easy to come by.

Full disclosure: if you use my link below, I get a dollar.  I'd say that I'd use it to buy my kids the new shoes that they need, but have you seen the price of kids' shoes recently?  Sheesh.

Join here: Join MyPoints NOW!

Disney Movie Rewards: five points

So you get a little more time on this one, almost 24 hours.  Today's code is CTC4VE.

Disney Movie Rewards: 5 points

Good until noon today: CTC3E2

Tuesday, December 3, 2013

Disney Movie Rewards: Countdown to Christmas

There's a reason someone called it the most wonderful time of the year.  From now until December 25, DMR is offering five points per day at  I"m still not exactly sure what the purpose of Pinterest is, but if they're gonna give me five points per day, I'm all mouse ears.  The code changes at noon each day.  No guarantee on what time I get to it, so keep your eyes open.

Added bonus: the monthly points email went out today.  I got five points.

Monday, December 2, 2013

Pampers Points to Grow: 30 points

Two free codes for Pampers Points, 15 points each:

Disney Movie Rewards: five points

Another easy one.  Enter CTC2NM at Disney for your five points.

Recyclebank: 10 points

More easy points.  Pick up 10 points here.

It's a new month, so do your December tasks!

That's right, we've made it to December.  So I get to flip a page on the calendar and see a new picture of the kids.

Oh, it's also time to do your December tasks.  That's right, the things that earn you free points each month.  Sadly, it appears that Stouffer's has dropped the surveys/polls on its site, so there goes an easy 10 points.  But there's others.  Well, not really.  In a few days, you'll receive your Disney email giving you a few points for opening the link.

If you're into Amazon payments and Bluebird, remember, the month has started over.

Listia: Cyber Monday referral bonus

My favorite "bid for points" site, Listia, is offering a Cyber Monday special: get two referrals today and get 2,000 points.  If you haven't signed up, I'd recommend it any day of the year, but particularly today.

Saturday, November 30, 2013

My Coke Rewards: 12 Days of Holiday Rewards

Part two of the holiday promo at Coke starts tomorrow with the 12 day of holiday rewards.  Each day at noon EST, MCR will post a special redemption promo at a reasonably good discount.  Note that the site tends to get jammed at this time of day, so be prepared for frustration.

Friday, November 29, 2013

MyPoints: Spin 'n Win is back

An oldie-but-goodie from MyPoints, Spin 'n Win allows you to click on a button and spin a wheel to win free points.  Free points with a game attached?  My favorite.  You can play once per day until December 4.

Wednesday, November 27, 2013

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: Domino's $25 gift card for 1,225 points

Truthfully, I was hoping for something better on "Red Wednesday."  First, it's a lousy 30% off.  Second, it's Domino's.  But for those of you who are into that sort of thing, here you go.

Tuesday, November 26, 2013

Pampers points: 10 free points

Always nice to receive some free Pampers points.  In this case, head to the site and enter code FBD11THXPEDAF13.

Monday, November 25, 2013

My Coke Rewards: Double points on Coke, Zero and Diet Coke through 11/29

I normally write something here, but the title pretty much says it all.  Well, you also get double points on the vanilla, lime, etc. versions of the above.  So I guess that counts as writing something.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: Double points and Rewards sale

Always a favorite, Kellogg's Family Rewards is offering double points for codes on November 29, making your points only half as useless.  It's following that date up with a rewards sale from Dec 2-8, although it is being coy about what is on sale.

CVS black Friday extrabucks run

As many of you know, around Thanksgiving, CVS puts a ton of items into free after extrabucks mode, e.g., buy something for $5 and get $5 in extrabucks back.

I did my run this morning for all the free stuff.  It's an annual tradition for me and I find a lot of amusement in it. Note: Your CVS may have different items for free after extrabucks (FAE) than mine.

In Boston, this year is a highly efficient run, which means that you will have almost zero dollars out of pocket* if you do it correctly.  Your instructions, based on my local CVS ads, are below.  You'll need a copy of the ad to follow this email.  The FAE items are on pages 2,3 and the back cover.

The target price is $12.99, which means that the most expensive item on offer for FAE is $12.99.  We'll call it $13 for the sake of simplicity.  All items you purchase must be bought in lots of $13, so you can use the EB from the previous lot for the next lot.  At the end, you should have about $13 in EB, which equals your input.  Here is the order in which I'd recommend shopping:

1) Buy the glucose reader for $12.99 and receive an EB coupon for $12.99
2) Use the above coupon to buy Rescue and Mycratine and get your EBs
3) Use those EB to buy the Probiotics and both Starbucks cans
4) Use those EB to buy Advil, Total Home, Anti-Diarrhea stuff, toothbrush and Somnapure
5) Use those EB to buy everything else, which total about $13

*Okay, here's the difficult part.  Not every CVS has every product.  So the instructions may not maintain their integrity if your CVS is missing a couple.  Thus, you should be prepared to change things around on the fly to minimize your out of pocket (OOP) costs.  For instance, my CVS didn't have some of the medical stuff, meaning that my $13 target price didn't work.  So my target price became the next highest item, the Rescue at $7.79.  Using that as the target, each lot ended up being about $8 and I ended up with my last lot being $5, so I also bought the $3 toothpaste, which gives back $2.50 in EB.  In total, my OOP came out to just over a dollar, which includes the extra $.50 for the toothpaste.

What you'll need to bring:

A pen and scrap paper to redo calculations and lots if your CVS is out of any items.
Several copies of the circular, since you will mark up multiples as you rejigger your lots
A sharpie to cross out items, since ballpoint pen ink doesn't show up well

Friday freebie: Teriyaki Sauce

Yes, I'm getting desperate, but it's Komodo brand sauce, so at least it has a cool name.  Thanks to heyitsfree, from which I stole the link.

On the plus side, I found a Youtube video of an Erasure concert from 1990, so it's not all bad.

Ibotta: Double reward for referrals through November 30

I don't use Ibotta as much as I use some of the others, but I know that many here do.  Through November 30, you get $2 per referral for each person who uses your referral link and opens the app on their device.  In other words, your referral doesn't actually need to buy something, they just need to open the app.  My referral link is here and if you would like to start a Conga in the comments, please feel free.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 100 points

Cool, free points.  KFR sent out its weekly email with a few bonus codes thrown in.  You can hunt for them or just get them here.  Truthfully, looking for them hidden in the email is kinda fun.

I wonder whose job it is to come up with those codes?  Maybe some intern somewhere.

Tuesday, November 19, 2013

I need your help! Please respond if you can.

I recently checked statistics and noticed that I have been averaging over 100 visitors per day.  First, thank you!  My mother just can't hit the site that many times.

There's one problem: The format of the site kind of sucks.  This was my first blog and blogger is the easiest program to use, but it doesn't give you much in terms of creativity.

Thus, I'm considering moving this over to my hostgator platform and moving it to Wordpress, where my site doesn't suck quite as much.  Hopefully, the Wordpress format would look a little nicer.

Does anyone have comments, observations, etc.?

My Coke Rewards: Refer friends for points

Am I the only one who didn't know this?  If you go under "Offers & Promotions," it gives you the option to send an email to friends.  For every friend you refer who earns 50 points, you get 10.  Wow, this seems like an opportunity for massive over-earning.

Friday, November 15, 2013

Recyclebank: 10 points

Click the box for ten points.  Seriously, that's all.  Check it out here.

Thanks to H4F for this one.  I missed it.

Thursday, November 14, 2013

My Coke Rewards: Merry Minutes is back!

Ah, the candy cane game with a prize per minute is back!  One of my faves.  Click here to access the game.  Don't forget to go into the rules and scroll down to 5b to get five free entries per day.

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Recyclebank: 50 points

Coupla quick quizzes.  First one is here, second one here.  25 points each.  Enjoy!

Kelloggs Family Rewards: $20 off a Shutterfly order and free shipping

Don't know if these codes are 1X only, but help yourself.

KE3F-3CE0-5EYP-S80PME gets you $20 off, and the following code gets you free shipping.  KE26-2MD9-8NKR-T1RJYM.

Pampers gifts to grow: 20 points

Wow, the rare double!  Head over to Pampers and enter these codes for 10 points each:

Friday, November 8, 2013

Checkpoints: Using the same product for numerous scans

Oftentimes, Checkpoints will ask you to scan several different items by the same manufacturer.  For example, suppose you need to scan both NyQuil and DayQuil, but your store only has one.  Or you need to scan both a bucket and bottle of Oxy Clean, but the store only sells the buckets.  Turns out it doesn't matter.

As long as the products have the same parent manufacturer, you can scan the same product for multiple points opportunities.  I had five different DayQuil/NyQuil opportunities but was able to collect on all just by scanning the same DayQuil five times.

Just an opportunity if you're having trouble finding what you need.

Wednesday, November 6, 2013

Recyclebank: 100 points

Here's an easy 100 points from Recyclebank.  Go here, click on each of the ten links and be happy with your ten points per link.  Cool!

My Coke Rewards: Double points on Diet Coke 12-packs

Through November 8, you will get double points on Diet Coke 12-packs.  That's all.

Tuesday, November 5, 2013

Disney Movie Rewards: 25 points

Per H4F, enter code "Dusty" for 25 points.  Looks like they're working the DVD.  Head here for Disney's site.

Disney Movie Rewards: Check your email

I got my monthly Disney email yesterday, so be sure to check your inbox and spam for your points.  I received a whopping eight points this month.

And as an added bonus, Disney introduced a Phineas doll as a reward.  I only have Perry the Platypus and Dr. Doofenschmirtz, but maybe I'll look into it.

Friday, November 1, 2013

November tasks: Start today!

The start of the new month means it's time to do your monthly "tasks" again.  These are your point-earning opportunities that you want to do on a monthly basis.  They include:

1.  Enter a Pampers code if you are doing their monthly promo.
2.  Go to Stouffer's to get your ten points for surveys (I can't find the surveys now.  If anyone has one, please let me know.).
3.  Make a transfer into your Bluebird account if you are doing the direct deposit there.
4.  Amazon payments, if that's your thing
5.  Keep an eye out for your Disney Rewards email over the next few days.

Radio Loyalty: Points for listening to internet radio

If I were just mentioning this site for the points, it wouldn't make the cut (and I have a very low bar for inclusion), given the price of the rewards.  But it's actually a useful site.  Sign up, type in the type of music you're looking for and it will give you a bunch of options, all of which are free.  Right now, I'm rockin' to some new wave 80s.  You get ten points automatically awarded to you every ten minutes, and if you want the points but not the music, there's no reason you can't mute it.  It also has the standard "bonus offers" you can do for more points, but that's up to you.

One note: When you sign in, first sign in to the main site and then sign in again on the music page.

And yes, it does offer points for referrals.  You earn 10% of whatever your referrals earn.  Feel free to start a Conga in the comments.  I'll probably never get a prize, but if I'm going to listen to the radio anyway, might as well earn points for doing so.

Feel free to sign up here.

e-Miles: An actual enhancement

I run for my life whenever I hear that a program is being enhanced, but in this case, it's a good one.  e-Miles is a site that lets you earn points by looking at ads and clicking on a few questions.  Sometimes, you can earn higher levels of bonus points just by submitting your email.  In the past, e-Miles has always been program-specific, i.e., if you signed up for Delta miles, you could only get Delta miles.

Now, you earn the same amount of points, but you get e-Miles that can be used for any number of programs.  Instead of being limited to your sponsor, you have a choice of redemptions which does include gift cards.

The only downside is that I don't know if old accounts have been grandfathered.  You may have to sign up for a new account here.

Pampers Points: 100 points!

Wow, you don't get this one too often.  Head over to Pampers and enter the following two codes, each good for 50 points today!

Hat tip to H4F for being the first post that I saw on this one.

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

My Coke Rewards: Seven bonus points on Coke Zero 12-packs through Sunday

Maybe they're making up for their crappy Wednesday deal?  Through 11/3, earn a bonus of seven points per CZ 12-pack you enter.  Time to see what you have in the pantry!

Shopkick: More updates to the app

Shopkick, which pays you to walk into stores (I'm not kidding.), scan items and make purchases has updated its app several times, with the most recent update today.  It has surpassed Checkpoints as my favorite of these types of apps.

Should you decide to join, feel free to use my link.  Note that I may get points if you sign up under my referral, so I appreciate it.  I'm not sure what the current sign-up bonus is.

My Coke Rewards Wednesday deal: All You magazine

It's rare that MCR finds something that I've never even heard of, but they pulled the rabbit out of the hat this week.  All You Magazine is at 166 points, versus 333 normally.

Monday, October 28, 2013

Disney Movie Rewards: 3-7 points

A reader was kind enough to post a DMR code that will earn you 3-7 points in October.  Unfortunately, I completely missed the comment and am just getting to it now.  Shocking, huh?  I mean, who knew this blog had readers?

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 20 points

Another easy one.  Enter code GIFT-OFMU-SICB-ONUS for 20 points at Kellogg's Family Rewards.

Really, that's it. Cool, huh?

Saturday, October 26, 2013

My Points: 900 points for ordering a $75 Staples gift card

Not a huge arbitrage on this one, but for those of you who like your Staples, this is one of the better deals that I have seen from My Points.  I value MP at about a penny a point, so you get about a 12% return.

Friday, October 25, 2013

Friday Freebie: Free Krispy Kreme Doughnut on Halloween

Head over to your favorite Krispy Kreme on Halloween and, if you are wearing your costume, you'll get a free doughnut.  I'm going as an unsuccessful blog developer.

Thursday, October 24, 2013

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 50 points

You'll need that Facebook account, fake or otherwise, for this one, but upload a picture and recipe to the site and get 50 points.

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

Disney Movie Rewards: 25 points

Hey, 25 points for a fun quiz.  Head here and unscramble the letters.  Or just use the answers provided below:

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: $25 Health and Beauty Gift card

And we're back!

This week's deal is another one of those that you probably wouldn't take even if it were free.  It's one that can only be redeemed at a certain time, place etc. and for products that are likely very expensive, even with a gift card.  The key to knowing that?  It was only 70 points before the promo.

Tuesday, October 15, 2013

Starbucks Rewards: New rewards (minor, but no negatives)

In an effort to boost its partners, Starbucks is adding Evolution, Refreshers and Teavana as redemption options.  You also get a coupon for 15% off the store, for what it's worth.  Hey, doesn't cost us anything, even if we don't use it.

Monday, October 14, 2013

Pampers Points: 10 points

Pampers Gifts to Grow seems to be picking it up again.  Here's another 10 points, using code FBTHXCAN8TXD5W3.

Sunday, October 13, 2013

Out of Office notice: October 13-22; will check in sporadically

This one will be the last of these for a while and I'll still be in every few days, but I'm going OOO for a week or so.  Please check in to get the updates as I get them up.

Friday, October 11, 2013

Friday Freebie: Sorta Starbucks

Last day of the Starbucks payitforward promo.  Pay for the coffee of the person in front of you and get a freebie yourself.  Not really my cup of tea (or coffee), but there are some who love these kinds of promos.  Check it out here.

Thursday, October 10, 2013

Mobee adds Burger King french fries to the mission list

Here's a chance for free french fries with a few cents left over.  For those of you who use my favorite app, Mobee, the company has launched surveys at Burger King to try their new Satisfries.  Hey, I didn't come up with the name.

In any case, you will get at least a few hundred points for the mission and, since the fries cost less than that, you'll have points left over.  It's worth a look if you have a BK near you.

Wednesday, October 9, 2013

$5 Amex Statement credit for joining tripadvisor and writing a review

Thanks to Gary P at for the tip here.

Not really free points, but it is free money, which is even better.  Using this link, Amex members can join Trip Advisor and write a review.  After your first review, you'll receive a statement credit of $5.  Sounds pretty good to me!

Pampers points: 5 points

Hey, they're back.  Here's a code for a quick five points from Pampers.  Head over here and enter code TWIT813TW11EB13.

My Coke Rewards: Great Wednesday deal goes quickly

Too good to be true means that they've been cleared out by 9:42 am.  A free Gold AMC ticket and large popcorn for 290 points.  That's about as good as the Wednesday deals get.  Do I need to start getting on these things at midnight?

Tuesday, October 8, 2013

Recyclebank: 175 points

Well, it's about time.  Start here by clicking on all the arrows for 150 points.

And take a five question quiz from J&J for another 25.

Disney Rewards: Check your email

Just got my Disney Rewards email last night for seven points, so be sure to look out for yours!  Check your spam bucket if it's not there.

Monday, October 7, 2013

And we're back! Keep an eye out for Disney points...

Keep an eye in your email for your monthly Disney points freebie.  It should be here any day!

Out of office through Monday

If it looks like I have been posting a lot of OoO notices recently, well, it's because I have.  I'm in the middle of a pretty busy travel period and I can't get PGary's cats to update my website.  This weekend, I'm off to DC with the kiddies.  Can't wait to show them the zoo, the Air and Space Museum and all the other, oh, wait, never mind.

I never get political on the blog, but it does strike me as obscene that Congress still gets paid through the shutdown (although some members will voluntarily surrender their paychecks, much like at a TSA checkpoint).  Maybe I'll let my Congress-critter explain to my kids why my kids can't go to the zoo.

On a brighter note, I did go to a conference yesterday where the CEO of Dollar Shave Club spoke.  If you haven't seen his (SFW) viral video, I suggest you watch it now.  Just try to keep the laughter to a minimum.

First of the month tasks

September was a crap month for freebies.  Let's hope that October is better.  In the meantime, don't forget to complete your monthly "tasks:"

1) Enter a Pampers code if you are saving for those
2) Free points at Stouffers
3) Keep an eye out for your Disney Points email
4) Amazon payments
5) Bluebird resets

My points: 50 points per day contest

Head on over to MyPoints's Facebook page each day at 11 am EST for clues as to where the 50 points bonus is.  The first 1,000 people get the loot.

Monday, September 30, 2013

Shopkick: Beware the store detective

So I was wandering around a Walgreen's the other day, scanning my Shopkick products for points.  A not-so-stealthy store detective kept following me around, peeking around from behind aisles, checking out what I was doing.  I left the store five minutes and 200 points later, but I have to wonder what that detective was thinking.

Maybe I'll go back tomorrow.

Friday, September 27, 2013

Friday Freebie: Sleep supplement

Since I've been sick recently, I'll make today's freebie a sleep supplement.  Sleep: It does the body good.

Note: I've never used the stuff and am not endorsing it.  Just saying it's out there.

Wednesday, September 25, 2013

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: Family Circle Magazine

Man, they must have a lot of magazines to get rid of, since they've been pushing them pretty hard.  Today's deal: Family Circle, for 50 points instead of 133.  How did they come up with 133, anyway?  Is Family Circle anything like Family Circus?  I hated that comic strip.

Monday, September 23, 2013

Old Orchard Juice games: Easy points

Old Orchard isn't one that I write about too often, since there aren't a lot of free code promos.  But there does appear to be an easy (and sometimes fun) way to generate points.

First, check out the list of opportunities here.  If you haven't signed up for the alerts, that's your first way to get easy points.  But number 2 on the list is the games.

The games offer multiple opportunities for points.  First, you get 10 points for every game you play, once per hour.  But you also get additional points if you do well at the games, and most don't take much practice to finish in the top three.  Join a tournament (or start one of your own and earn 10 points) and play.  For every player in the tourney, 10 points are added to the pool.  When the tournament is over, 1st place gets 50% of the points, with the net two getting 30% and 20%.  Given how many people enter and how badly they play, it shouldn't be hard to pick up a few.

And we're back! Don't forget the Disney Challenge

I'll actually be around for the next few weeks which means that I'll be here when nobody posts any freebies for us (It's been a crappy few weeks.).

But until then, don't forget to check out the Disney Challenge on Facebook every few weeks.  They run Disney-related puzzles that can earn you a few points toward your total.  Hey, every bit counts!

Sort of out of the office notice

I'll be out of town this week, but will attempt to keep up with things, even if they're a day behind.  Keep checking in!

Pampers Gifts to Grow adds Starbucks cards as rewards

Ya know what sucks?  Having a whole post done, only to have your internet die on you.  Our modem, which was already on its last legs, met its final end Saturday night, also leaving us without internet service for the weekend (and phone service for an hour or two, which is okay, since no one ever calls us anyway).

So Pampers finally bit the bullet and added a reward that is good for somebody without a toddler: Starbucks gift cards.  1,100 points gets you $10, which isn't great, but it's an infinite return on capital if all the points are free.

Friday Freebie: Estee Lauder perfume

Ooh, a free perfume sample from Estee Lauder.  I guess that's good.  I don't wear a lot of perfume, although I do have a  weakness for Bulgari bath products.

Thanks to for the tip.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 75 points

Cool.  I'm beginning to like these football-themed promos.  Here's 75 points from KFR:

Kellogg's Family Rewards: Possible points

I got my usual weekly email from KFR with an opportunity to enter a sweepstakes.  I didn't win the sweepstakes, but the code 3t5j-b4tx-g7wl-mjr9 got me 100 points.  I don't know if the code is unique, but if it isn't, you probably have something similar in your email.

Wednesday, September 11, 2013

Recyclebank: 150 points

It's nice that RB always puts out a monthly offering of 100-200 points.  This month is football themed, not that that matters.  Points are points.  Click on 15 boxes, get 150 points.  How nice.  Go here to play.

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: $50 gift card

I'm sure there's nothing too terrible about the gift card ($50 off a two-night stay at certain hotels), but any gift card for $50 on MCR, particularly at 70 points, warrants attention.  Be sure to read through the details, since too good to be true is generally too good to be true.

Monday, September 9, 2013

Recyclebank: 25 points

And we're back!

Check out Recyclebank for a quick 25 points on barbecuing.  That's all.

Monday, September 2, 2013

Don't forget your monthly tasks!

I'll be on and off for the next few days, but it's the beginning of the new month, so don't forget the following:

Your Disney Rewards mystery points email
Pampers points entry for the gift for doing it for twelve months
Stouffer's trivia
Amazon Payments
Bluebird resets

And anything else you can think of!

Friday, August 30, 2013

Out of Office: Through 9/3/13

I'm away for Labor Day.  Don't forget your first-of-the-month tasks on Sunday!

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 25 points

Ooh, a 3-day weekend!  Let's celebrate it with an appropriate KFR Code: THRE-EDAY-VACA-TION.

Wednesday, August 28, 2013

My Coke Rewards: Wednesday deal, This Old House magazine

Since I haven't had anything to write about in almost a week, I was really, really hoping for something good.  I didn't get it.  Take about 50% off the normal 267 points for a subscription to This Old House.  Wow, they're really digging.

Friday, August 23, 2013

Friday freebie: Cafe Bustelo Coffee

On Fridays, I do a quick search for "internet freebies."  I usually get a really wide range of options.  But, for some reason, Cafe Bustelo seemed to dominate today's search.  Hey, who am I to argue?  Check it out here.

Wednesday, August 21, 2013

My Coke Rewards: Wednesday Deal-Minute Maid Juice Boxes

Actually, for those with kids, this is a pretty good deal.  For 100 points, get a coupon for a 10-pk of juice boxes.  Assuming the packs are $4.00 each, you're getting $.04 worth of value per point.  You know they expect it to go fast when they limit it to one per member.  See the deal here.

Monday, August 19, 2013

What a lousy weekend for freebies.

Nothing.  So here's a cap code.  Please be kind and put in a comment when you use it.

Friday, August 16, 2013

My Coke Rewards: Double points on diet sodas today

A reader pointed out a promo on MCR that I had missed which, unfortunately, ends today.  Through today, get double points on virtually all diet 12-packs.  And I just made a supermarket run...

Thursday, August 15, 2013

Pampers Gifts to Grow: 10 points

I should go away more often, given the amount of points that hit while I was away.  Head over to Pampers and enter code FBTHX8DAJEL7R13.

Recyclebank: 150 points

The good news is that you'll get an easy 150 points for doing a few clicks.  The bad news is that you'll fill guilty about eating lunch.  Check it out here.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 50 points

And we're back!

New KFR code worth 50 points: EURO-PEAN-VACA-TION

Much more pleasant than something like MYPR-ISON-SENT-ENCE, isn't it?

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

Out of Office alert: Through Wednesday 8/14

Sorry about the late notice.  I'll be out of office until Thursday morning.  See you then!

Friday, August 9, 2013

Sony Rewards: 250 points

From H4F:

Play the game here and then share it.  50 points.

Once on FB, hit "share" again for another 200.

I have yet to find the actual instructions for the game, but that's not what I'm here for.

Wednesday, August 7, 2013

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: Cedar Fair admissions for 250 points

I don't have a Cedar Fair near me, but this deal sounds like it might be good: a one day pass to Cedar Fair for 250 points, a discount from the normal 1,000 points.

Tuesday, August 6, 2013

Recyclebank: 25 points

Want.  Take.  Have.

Go here and click on the button for your 25 points.  Really, that's all.

Disney Movie Rewards: Monthly points

Check your email for your DMR monthly points.  A big eight for me this month!

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 75 points

Kellogg's has certainly kicked it into high gear with the free codes.  Here's a couple from the weekend:

KELL-OGGS-FREE-BOOK for 50 points
BACK-TOSC-HOOL-POLL for 25 points

Friday, August 2, 2013

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 25 points

Yet another KFR code?  It seems like we're back to the good old days.  Enter code GOOD-FORY-OUCE-REAL here for your free points.

Thursday, August 1, 2013

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 5 free points

Check your email for one from KFR.  There's a code in there that says it is for a Scholastic book but will also add five points to your total.

First of the month: Monthly tasks

Certain programs offer free monthly points or require that you do something every so often to keep your points from expiring.  Here's my current list for the month:

Stouffer's Dinner Club offers 10 points per month for taking two quick surveys (under a minute).  Hey, can't hurt.

My Coke Rewards requires activity every few months.  Check your account to make sure that you're not in danger of losing your points.

Pampers Gifts to Grow is offering a bonus if you enter at least one code per month for certain time periods.  Be sure to enter yours.

For those of you who are into this kind of thing (not that there's anything wrong with it), you can make your Amazon Payment transfer for August now.

And for those of you who do Bluebird, a $10 paypal transfer counts as your monthly deposit in, allowing you  free access to certain ATMs.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 20 free points

Always a nice way to start off the month with a few cereal points.  Visit KFR and enter code KFRT-OURC-HAMP-20PT.

Wednesday, July 31, 2013

Recyclebank: 25 points

Plastics.  Dustin Hoffman was told that they represent the future.  I'm just using them to offer 25 points to you here.

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: Pogo subscription, again

Man, they're really hurting for deals.  One month Pogo subscription, 10 points instead of 75.  Yawn.

Tuesday, July 30, 2013

Nature Made: 235 points

Thanks to Hunt4freebies for pointing this one out.

For those of you into vitamins, Nature Made is offering up some pretty sweet coupons based on free points.  The following codes will get you some points:

FBOOK100: 100 points
USP25PTS: 25 points
REWARD25: 25 points
HEALTH10: 25 points
25POINTS: 25 points
VITAMELTS: 25 points
10POINTS: 10 points

Monday, July 29, 2013

Because it's been a slow weekend...

MCR.  Please, please, please, when you use it, just comment.  That's all I ask.

Friday, July 26, 2013

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 50 points

I'm feeling a little bit of blog fatigue, so it's nice to get a code this morning.  It's been a rough month.

KFR is offering 50 points this morning for entering code GROC-ERIE-SFRO-MKFR.  I wonder whose job it is to come up with a code that makes sense and is exactly 16 letters?

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: 60% off sunglasses

I was hoping for something related to the McDonald's Monopoly game and this is what I get?  Another one of these coupons, so buy at your own risk.  Check it out here.

Monday, July 22, 2013

Checkpoints: "Enhanced" referral program

Checkpoints, a site that pays you to scan certain items at stores, has moved from a flat referral bonus to a percentage of your referrals' earnings.  When a referral signs up, you will get a bonus equal to 100% of the points that your referral earns in their first two weeks.  For most people, this will result in a net decline, unless you get a very active referral.

On the plus side, the program is ridiculously easy to use.

Old Orchard: 500 points for a quick survey

I don't even know if they sell OO juice near me, but who am I to argue with free points.  Today's 500 brings my total up to 2,600, enough to get me a free 64-oz'er or a puzzle.  Hmm, 99-piece puzzle will keep the kids occupied for how long?  Sold!

Oh, here's the link to the survey.

Audience Rewards answers

Haven't seen these posted recently, so here are the most recent answers for AR:

1) Seattle
2) 1
3) Cabaret
4) False
5) 1975
6) Masha

Pampers Points: 15 points

I feel like Pampers is just calling it in when coming up with codes for free points.  Do I care?  Not a lick.  Head here and enter code PAMPERSREWARDS1.

Friday, July 19, 2013

Friday freebie: Free sugar substitute

No guarantee that it tastes like sugar, though.  Your taste buds may or may not thank you.  Click here.

Thursday, July 18, 2013

Starbucks: Possible $5 gift card

Thanks to H4F for step by step instructions.  I would have missed it.

Prevacid 24 perks is kind enough to offer a $5 Starbucks gift card (or one of several other gifts) just for signing up for their program.  How sweet.  So here we go:

1) Sign up for Prevacid and confirm your email.  While in your email, sign in to your Prevacid account.
2) Choose your gift and hit next.
3) Where it asks you for a UPC code, enter 30067-6286-143.  Redeem.
4) Your card should show up in a few hours in your email.

Drink and enjoy!

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

Recyclebank: 180 points

Easy points from Unilever here.  Click through a video, get 180 points.

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: Better Homes and Gardens Magazine

Wow, 50% off!  I guess that's good.  Head here to get the deal for 66 points.

You know what would get me a better garden?  Some rain.  I don't think I need a magazine to tell me that.

Tuesday, July 16, 2013

Disney Movie Rewards: Disney Challenge

Don't forget that yesterday was the third Monday of the month, meaning that there is a new puzzle up on the Disney Facebook page to earn yourself a few points.  I'd have a separate google window open to get the answers.

Monday, July 15, 2013

Seventh Generation: New EcoBonus program

And, in today's "blast from the past" category, we are featuring Seventh Generation, one of the worst programs in the history of loyalty programs.  The new program, EcoBonus, actually looks a little better, although it would be hard to be worse than the previous iteration.  So far, the best thing about the program seems to be the wide array of rewards, literally thousands of them, but I'm not sure about the quality: 53 points seems to be a lot, for instance, for a Rand McNally map of Montana and Wyoming.  If you subscribed to the old program, you should have a link in your email for the new one.  Mine also included a code for 15 points: 6XD8X6MJCNFW.  I can't verify, though, if that code is unique or good for multiple people.

On the plus side, there are movie tickets as possible rewards.  I'm running low.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 45 points

Welcome back from your weekend.  I hope everyone stayed cool.

While staying inside, curled up next to the A/C unit, enjoy points from Kellogg's.

HEALTHYRETURNS20 for 20 points.

textinmykfrcodes for another 25.

Mobee adds retail to its missions list

It's been a while since I've talked about Mobee, since there hasn't been a lot of new news.

But today, I got a nice email pointing out that they have added retail stores to their list of mission opportunities.  Previously, only restaurants were on the list, but I noted Staples, Radio Shack, Best Buy and a bunch of others are now offering points to answer a few questions.  The retail store missions are only in Boston now, but I hope they will expand soon.

Friday Freebie: Scotch-Brite Disinfecting Wipes

Wow, who wouldn't want these?  The 37-second video you have to watch is both spooky and funny.  Added bonus.  Check it out here.

Thursday, July 11, 2013

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: Minute Maid Koozie

In a promo that rivals even the lameness of some of the magazine offers, MCR is offering a koozie for 50 points instead of the usual 250.  I have nothing further to say on the matter.

Tuesday, July 9, 2013

Recyclebank: 150 easy points

Well, this should be an easy one.  Go here, click through the slide show and hit the button at the end.  Pretty painless.

Monday, July 8, 2013

Quiet weekend...

Apparently, the free points decided to take the weekend off, as well.  There's nothing to post today, but I'll be searching.

Friday, July 5, 2013

Pampers Gifts to Grow: 10 points

And I just hit the magic 1,900.  No idea what's magical about it, but it's a round number.  Code is FB4JULWDHQP7P13.

Disney Movie Rewards: More free points from the Disney Challenge

The first and third Monday of every month, Disney will be launching new questions on its Facebook page as part of the Disney Challenge.  Think "Audience Rewards for the Mouse."  Hope you know your Disney characters, since the questions aren't easy.  Seriously, who knows how many eggs Gaston eats per day now that he is an adult?

On the plus side, I earned five points.

Wednesday, July 3, 2013

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: Hotel Gift Card, 70 points

I have a rule of thumb with these deals: Any time I get one of these discount coupons, I pass.  Whether it's for 1800Flowers,, etc., the fine print always makes them tough to use.  There's a reason that these things sell for so few points.

Today's looks a little better, but not much.  You get $50 off a two-night stay at a hotel that you choose from a (long) list at the merchant.  But I don't know what kind of pricing the merchant actually offers, and it is no doubt getting a kickback from the hotel.

If this deal appeals to you, go for it.  But be sure to read the fine print.

Tuesday, July 2, 2013

Recyclebank: Easy, easy 150 points

Go to this link.  Click through the slideshow.  Click the button at the end.  Get 150 points.

Disney Movie Rewards: Monthly bonus

Don't forget to check your email for your monthly Disney newsletter with a mystery code.  I got five points.

There also seems to be a game in the middle of the page that you can play for points, but I'm unable to access Facebook from this computer.

EDITED 1:11pm: Pampers Gifts to Grow: 30 points

Ah, my favorite.  Free Pampers points.  And 20 points to boot!  Just go to Pampers and enter code: PAMPERSREWARDSU.

And here's another 10 for FBW5RACADWP7113!  Thanks to Saas on FT, who beat me to it.

And we're back! Remember your start of the month "tasks!"

After a week away, both physically and from the internet, it's always nice to come back with something to write.  Remember, today is the first of the month, so be sure to do your monthly "tasks."  In other words, anything that can earn you points once per month.  In this case, don't forget:

Stouffers trivia for 10 points
Pampers points-Enter a code to continue your monthly bonus.  If you need a code, check out listia
Amazon payments, for those of you who are into that kind of thing

I manage the My Coke Rewards accounts for my whole family, so I'll be entering codes for them, as well, just to keep the accounts active.

Thursday, June 20, 2013

Out of office notice

Starting Saturday, I will be OOO until July 1.  I may post occasionally if I can, so check back, just in case.

Mobee: Site update and visit with the team

Turns out the team at Mobee works only a few blocks from where I work, so I popped over to say hello.  Nice crew, with an emphasis on technology.  They also gave me a preview of the app update that hit today.

The new update is one of the biggest improvements that they have made since the app launched.  Previously, there was only a map view.  Now, not only do you have the map, but you can sort by distance, point value and restaurant name.  It makes it a lot easier to determine which missions are right for you.

Pampers Points: 10 free points

One of these days, I'm going to be better about updating the site on the weekend.  Until then, I'll probably get beaten to these Pampers points.  Here's 10, if you haven't already gotten them, using code FBPA6XW7KRU8J13

Pepsi Points: Better stuff, still stinks

H4F pointed me in the direction of Pepsi Points, which has upped the prizes, although they still stink.  I really don't want that bright yellow t-shirt.

The plus side is that they have also upped the amount of ways to earn points, making that ugly t-shirt easier to get.

Check it out here.

Friday, June 14, 2013

Friday Freebie: Free Chili's flatbread

This one has been all over the internet but, in case you missed it, here's a coupon for a free Chili's flatbread for signing up for their newsletter.  Enjoy!

Thursday, June 13, 2013

My Coke Rewards: 40 free points by signing up with Red Robin

For those of you in the know, Red Robin is a casual dining burger place.  And for those not in the know, Red Robin is a casual dining burger place.  But everyone should care because, by signing up for their loyalty program, you can get 40 free MCR points.  Check it out here.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 50 points

Ah, Kellogg's, my old friend, home of the mostly useless points.  Thank you for my 50 free points, which I shall redeem here.  The code is SCHOLASTICSWEEPS.

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: $30 jewelry gift card

This week's, er, "deal," is a $30 gift certificate to something called for jewelry.  So here's my question: the deal initally cost 70 points and was marked down to 30.  Since even the most expensive prizes have street value not much higher than $30, how much is this $30 really worth?  I'll leave that up to you.

Tuesday, June 11, 2013

Recyclebank: 150 points

I don't know if it is just the onset of the summer or something else, but Recyclebank has picked up nicely recently.  Just click through the slides here and earn 150 points.  It'll take you seconds.

Monday, June 10, 2013

Recyclebank: 300 points

The irony of Recyclebank is that they are trying to get us to use less paper, yet have one of the worst websites in history.  Nevertheless, if you can make it function better than I can, here are a few points freebies:

270 points for watching a quick slideshow and scrolling through a few clicks here.

30 points to learn about landfills here.

Okay, now get off the internet and go outside and play.  It's a beautiful day.

Friday, June 7, 2013

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 100 points

Thanks to Hunt4Freebies for this one, which I missed.  Text "baseball" to 89332 and get a unique code for 100 points.

Wednesday, June 5, 2013

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: $50 gift card

Today's MCR "deal" is a $50 gift card for 270 points.  I forbid you from purchasing it.  I absolutely forbid it.  There are far better ways to get these GCs and 270 points is still a rip-off, although less of one than the 600 points that MCR normally charges.

And now, a message from your sponsor...

I always like to help a Flyertalker whenever possible, particularly one who has a dog.  As an added bonus, it relates to Kimpton, one of my favorite hotel  chains.

So I ask you all to visit their website, look up Geno and place a vote for him by "liking" him.  Yes, you do need a FB account.

Thanks all.

Disney Points: 10 points

In addition to the monthly email mentioned below, feel free to enter the code BOTHER at Disney's site for an additional 10 points.

Disney Movie Rewards: Monthly Points

Check out your emails for your monthly Disney Rewards link.  Mine came today and I got a whopping seven points.

Monday, June 3, 2013

First of the month! Stouffers, Pampers, My Coke Rewards, other tasks

Ah, my favorite freebie day of the month, the first.  As a certified geek, I have a reminder set up for the first of the month to make sure I do my "tasks" for the month.  They include:

1) 10 free points at Stouffer's for answering a few questions in the polls.  Also, make sure to check your dinner hub to see what your monthly offer is.  Mine is $1 off of two meals.

2) I try to put in a code for each My Coke Rewards account that I manage, just to keep the account going.  The points expire after a certain amount of inactivity.

3) If you are collecting Pampers Points for the special offers based on consecutive months of entries, now is a good time to enter one.  If you need points, check out Listia.

4) For those who are playing the miles game, don't forget to do your Amazon Payments transfer as well as a transfer to Bluebird to serve as your Direct Deposit for the month.

Friday, May 31, 2013

Friday Freebie: Free Panda Express tonight

Okay, it's kinda last minute, but I've got nothing else before tomorrow's monthly reset.

Tonight, treat yourself to a free Panda Express Orange Chicken to celebrate their new summer hours.  Your coupon's time might be different based on your zip code.

Wednesday, May 29, 2013

My Coke Rewards: Free 60 point Southwest codes

A generous reader donated a couple of Southwest codes to the cause.  If you haven't already signed up for a Southwest account through MCR, here's 60 free points for you.

I have had a number of issues with leaving codes and the recipients not commenting afterward that they had used the code, so this one will require one extra step.  You must comment below and email me at, so I can verify when the codes are gone.  Sorry to add the extra step.

There are two codes available.

Walgreen's: New "Steps" program

A reader informed me that Walgreen's has changed the old "Walk with Walgreen's" to a new program called "Steps."  Steps lets you earn Balance Rewards points by doing such things as recording walking/exercise, your weight and listing goals.  You can also earn points by buying selected items at the store.

Points are worth $.001 each, so 5,000 points translates to $5.  The website is somewhat confusing, so the details aren't always obvious, but the program itself is pretty straightforward.  You can earn 20 points per mile you walk, as well as 20 points per weigh-in, up to 2,000 points per month.  Not exactly big cash, but better than nothing.

Read more about Steps here.

Best Buy newsletter: 100 points

With the Facebook game having gone to the great litter box in the sky, Best Buy was kind enough to offer 100 points to sign up for their spam newsletter.  It's one-time only, so you won't get it if you already subscribe.

My Coke Rewards: Wednesday Deal

Memorial Day is really screwing with my internal calendar, so I'm glad that I remembered that today is Wednesday.

One of my weaknesses is Entertainment Weekly magazine, which is 50% off at the MCR store for today's deal.  I'd subscribe, except I don't have time to read the magazines that I currently get, never mind new ones.  Hope somebody else has more opportunity for movie, tv and celebrity gossip.

Tuesday, May 28, 2013

Recyclebank: Up to 270 points

For those of you who haven't started the "paper" clicks, there are up to 270 points available, 30 points per page, for clicking on the items with the dotted lines.  For those who have started it, RB added another set of items that should net you well over 100 points.  Check it out here.

Pampers Gifts to Grow: 10 points

Enter code FBMEM5DPE7QW613 to pick up 10 points at Pampers.  Feel free to click here.

And we're back!

My apologies for completely forgetting the "out of office" message last week.  So to make up for it, here's a MCR code: 464B90R JNKH7W9

Please post in comments when you redeem.

Thursday, May 23, 2013

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 50 points

Be still my beating heart!  50 points from Kellogg's here, using code: KFRHOMERUNTICKET.  It's been a while!

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

My Coke Rewards Wednesday Deal: 75% off a shutterfly photo mouse

Clearly, Coke has some kind of deal worked out with Shutterfly, given how many of the Wednesday specials come from them.  Today's is a 50 point photo mouse pad, at a discount from the normal 200.

Tuesday, May 21, 2013

Best Buy Rewards Zone: It's back! 10 points

A reader informed me that, after a short hiatus, you can once again earn points at the Best Buy Facebook page.  Here is the link for those of you who haven't memorized it.

I know, you're as shocked as I am: this blog has readers?

Pepsi Points: Free code for points

True, the points are almost worthless, but "almost worthless" is still greater than zero.  Click here to get a code sent to you for your free points.

Monday, May 20, 2013

Recyclebank: 30 points

Unilever has been kind enough to provide 30 RB points.  Be sure to sign in and then click here.

Pampers Gifts to Grow: 15 points

For those of you who don't have school-aged kids, you're missing out on one of the great rites of parenthood: zipping your kids to as many birthday parties in a weekend as you can fit in.  It was a busy weekend for us.

So it took me a few to get to the free Pampers code, but here it is: NLMAYFLOWER2013.  Then, enter code TWITB5T17PAEM13 for another five.

Thursday, May 16, 2013

My Coke Rewards: 90 bonus points for entering a cap code

So it took me a while to figure this one out, but the friendly folks on FT were way ahead of me.  Hey, I've been sick.  Funny, I never used to get sick.  Then my kids were born.  What I really need is an old guy to come read me a story about fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants...

In any case, here's how it works:

1) Enter a MCR cap.  It appears that any cap will do.
2) Enter each of the following codes three times.  Each code should give you 10 points:

Rejoice in your 90 bonus points.

Wednesday, May 15, 2013

Kellogg's Family Rewards: Check your email for a bonus code

Normally, those Kellogg's emails just offer specials for purchases, but today's email had a bonus code in it.  I only got five points, but I'm sure others are worth more, considering they can't be worth much less.

Recyclebank: 150 points

It's been somewhat of a lousy month for free points, so I was quite happy to see that 150 Recyclebank points could be earned with a minimum of effort.  Go here, watch the video about the origins of paper for 30 points and then click through the screens for 30 points on each screen.  Click on the items with the dotted lines.

My Coke Reward Wednesday Deal: 50% off a Macaroni Grill gift card

I'm not a huge fan of Mac Grill, although I do like how the tablecloths are made out of paper, so you can color on them.  But for those who like the restaurant, pick up a $5 gift card for 70 points instead of 140.  That's actually a good deal.

Tuesday, May 14, 2013

Recyclebank: 40 points

Apparently, following this link will get you to a RB offer for 10 points to read something and another 30 to take a quiz.  I say "apparently" because I can't get the stupid thing to load when I click on it.  If anyone here is able to do it, please let me know what browser you used.

I spent much of the morning looking for the MCR Wednesday deal before realizing that it's Tuesday.  It's already one of those days...

Pampers Gifts to Grow: 10 free points

Sorry guys, busy weekend with the kids running Daddy (and Mommy) ragged.  To make up for it, I arranged for Pampers to give out a 10 point code.  Here it is: FBMD76C7HMEXT13.

My Coke Rewards Wednesday deal: 20 bonus points for entering four red caps

Great for red cap drinkers, not so good for anyone else.  Enter four red caps today and take home an extra 20 points.  Check it out here.

My Coke Rewards: May 8, enter four codes, get 20 bonus points

There are reports on both Flyertalk and Slickdeals that, on May 8, you will get a 20 point bonus if you enter four "Coke-brand" codes.  The question, of course, is what is meant by "Coke brands."  Does that include regular, zero, diet, cherry and vanilla (which is disgusting, btw), or is it just classic?  No doubt we'll be finding out tomorrow, but hold onto a few caps, just in case.

Disney Movie Rewards: Look for your monthly email!

Ahh, my monthly email for free Disney points.  Quite lovely.

I got mine, so keep an eye in your inbox for yours.  I got seven points this month.

They're a little light on Phineas and Ferb prizes, which I guess is okay, since Disney has told my kids that they are going to be watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates this year.  Sure enough, the kids listened to Disney instead of me.  Oh, Doofenschmirtz!

My Coke Rewards: Tweet for three points

I have yet to actually figure out this whole tweeting thing.  It seems to be useful, but I'm not sure what for.  Well, anything that gets you MCR points is useful.  Apparently, if you tweet from the MCR homepage, or it may work from this link, you get three points.  Seems reasonable to me.

Best Buy Reward Zone: Daily Points

Don't forget to check the Best Buy Facebook page for your daily/random points.

Note: I received an earlier question about what, exactly, this "game" consists of.  That's a good question.  I have yet to find a rhyme or reason to the program, when they offer a new user poll for points, etc.  Furthermore, since I can't access FB from this computer, I'm not always up on which days are which for the game.

Bottom line: I try to remember to post when I see something new, but you may want to give yourself a daily reminder, also.

Pampers Gifts to grow: 10 points

A nice way to start the week, here's ten easy points from Pampers. The code is FBM5DASCWPASD13.

Friday Freebie: four White Castle sliders

Friday freebies vary.  Sometimes, I find them while hunting around the internet.  Other times, it's something I saw on another website.  In this case, the credit goes to

I've never  actually had White Castle, although I have seen Harold and Kumar about a dozen times (the movies, not the guys).  Truthfully, I don't even know where the nearest White Castle is.  But if you have one nearby, join their mailing list and get four free sliders.  Then, report back and tell me how they are.

Recyclebank: Daily Pledge reminder

Like the FB game at Best Buy, there is a way to earn points every day at Recyclebank through the daily pledge.  It's five points for one click on the Earn Points page (at the bottom left) and, if you have the patience to do it on a daily basis, can earn you almost 2,000 points for the whole year.  It's worth the two seconds it will take you.

My Coke Rewards: 10 points for signing up for Dunkin Donuts emails

Today is officially "Steal stuff from FT and repost it." day.  Why is that?  Probably because I have a stomach ache from eating too many cookies.

In any case, I like to get points from MCR each month just to keep my (and my family's) accounts active.  The problem is, I just don't drink that much soda.  Fortunately, Splittin' Aces was kind enough to post this offer from MCR.  Sign up for emails from DD and get 10 points.  Just be sure to enter promo code MCR.  It looks like you have to keep the account for seven days, so your points probably won't post automatically.

Pampers Gifts to Grow: five points

As posted by Saas on FT, just enter code TWIT54MAYP4ER13 for five quick points.

My Coke Rewards Wednesday deal: One-day Cedar Fair admission for 250 points (normally 1,000)

I don't know much about Cedar Fair, other than Knott's Berry Farm, which I remember loving as a kid, but this admission pass actually looks like a pretty good deal.  Get a one-day pass at 75% off and spend your savings on junk food for your kids.  Yummy.

Best Buy Rewards Zone: 10 points

I'll also use the first of the month as a reminder to keep an eye on Best Buy.  Mundane and repetitive?  Of course.  Possibly valuable?  Yup.

Stouffer's Dinner Club: Monthly points are available

It's the first of the month, meaning that it's time to do your monthly offers.  I have a calendar appointment going, being the dork that I am, reminding me that I need to do certain things each month, including Stouffers, Pampers Points and My Coke Rewards, the last one so that my points don't expire.

Today is a quick reminder to get your 10 points at Stouffer's for completing your surveys.  This month's survey was about the efficacy of the program, and I let them know that the program is easy to use but the prizes are somewhat blah.

Mobee: Finally expanding to Chicago, Philly, NYC, San Francisco, San Jose and DC!

Finally!  My single favorite reward program, Mobee, is expanding out of Boston.  Their initial forays will be at Costco, Walmart and Target in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco, San Jose and Washington DC.  My impression is that these are trial runs to see how the cities take them, so if you live in one of these cities, I highly, highly recommend signing up.

As a reminder, Mobee is an app that allows you to do a quick (1-2 mins), multiple choice review of restaurants and retail and pays pretty decently to do so.  I've earned almost $200 since I downloaded the app in January and do almost no work with it.  Certain reviews pay more if you buy something, but I've never seen a location that did not have at least a couple of options that don't involve buying anything.  "Missions" range from $.25 to $5.00 each and never take more than two minutes.

To sign up, go to Mobee on your phone and download it.  That's it.  Full disclosure: We each get 300 points if you use referral code BKLZ when you sign up (which translates to $3) and I definitely appreciate it, but earning 300 points can also be done at a local restaurant/retailer in a matter of minutes, also.

Happy hunting!
