Last year at this time, I announced that my goal was to go the whole year without paying a penny out of pocket to support my Starbucks habit. So how did I do?
Technically, I paid $5. During the year, Groupon ran a $10 in Starbucks for $5 promo, so I wasn't going to give that one up. But I ended the year with more than $5 on the card, so I'm not going to beat myself up too much.
Mobee made up a large percentage of my Starbucks habit. Hey, nothing with earning a few bucks while reviewing restaurants that I eat at anyway.
Shopkick and Checkpoints also added some, with the former adding more than the latter. As Shopkick added scans as a way to earn points, it distanced its lead over checkpoints.
