My Coke Rewards: 10 points

Just a note that I'm out of town this week but going to try to check in daily.  The internet at my hotel is not what I would call, well, "modern."

A reader was kind enough to send me code 10052224127488, which will get you 10 points at MCR.  Enjoy.

Bing Rewards: It's not too bad

In terms of getting rewarded for searches, I've never been a big fan of Bing Rewards, particularly when I have Swagbucks available.  But I decided to join the program today and found it to be, well, okay.  I would still make Swagbucks my primary search engine, but here are a few advantages that Bing has over SB:

1.  You know exactly what you are getting.  Two searches are worth a point, up to 30 points per day.  You don't have to click on any links, so you can bang through those searches in about two minutes.  There are also bonus links to click for 1-10 points.  Do it while you are watching TV or something.  Points are worth about a penny each.  The list of prizes is much smaller than at SB.

2.  You can earn "status," based on how many points you have accumulated.  The top status gets you 10% off rewards.

That's pretty much it.  My plan is to come in in the morning, bang out my 60 searches and be done with it for the day.  Maybe I'll give myself a calendar invite.  That's a couple of gift cards every month, which is not terrible for doing nothing.  I should be able to earn Silver Status within a week and Gold within a month.

If you sign up through my referral link and earn Silver status within a month, I get 200 points.  Not a big deal, but every bit helps.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 100 points

Yummy.  Love and chocolate and free points, although this code only encompasses two of those.  Enter it here for 100 points.

My Coke Rewards: Tweet for 10 points

I really don't understand this Twitter thing, but they're giving me ten points for pressing a button.  How hard can that be?  Go here, sign in, scroll down, click a face and enter your Twitter stuff.  Boom!  You're 10 points richer.

Note: Even if you don't have a Twitter account, try it anyway.  I got a pop-up box in the background telling me I would get 10 points within 48 hours even before entering my Twitter info.

Checkpoints disappointment: End of bonus coins with scans

It looks like Checkpoints has gotten rid of the ability to earn bonus coins with scans once and for all.  Previously, most offers gave a bonus coin when you scanned an offer, allowing you to play a game to earn more points.  Now, to earn bonus coins, you need to complete offers in a separate section.

On the plus side, Checkout 51 is increasing the number of "generic" offers that it has.  By generic, I mean that you only have to buy a certain product (This week it is blueberries and eggs.), rather than a particular brand.  I'm not sure how that helps them make money, but who am I to argue?

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 50 points

I don't always love social media, but when it gives me 50 KFR points, we're at least good friends.  Enter code: ILOV-ESOC-IALM-EDIA here for yours.

Recyclebank: 90 (or 100) points

This Recyclebank offer claims to give 100 points, but I could only find 90.  Still, where else can you find 90 RB points for clicking on links?  Well, actually, nowhere, since they are proprietary.

Disney Movie Rewards: Check your email

I just got my DMR email and picked up five points, so you should probably do the same.  Enjoy!

February monthly tasks

We're off to a pretty good freebie start, but in all the excitement, don't forget to do your monthly tasks, which have gotten significantly cut back.  If you do Amazon payments, today's the day.  Enter a Pampers code to keep your monthly streak going.  Keep an eye on your email for a free code from Disney.

Have fun.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: 25 points

TOUCHDOWN4THEWIN

No, that's not a football cheer, it's the KFR code for 25 points.  Of course, if they gave you 25 points for every touchdown that Seattle scored last night, you'd be swimming in cereal.

My Coke Rewards: Bonus offer ends today, 10 free points and other stuff

Through the end of the day, you can enter Coke, Diet Coke or Coke Zero 12-pack codes for 20 points.  Not bad if you've been hoarding them.

Another free ten points for linking the Coke Super Bowl ad on their site to your twitter account.  Remember, you need a twitter account that you use solely for these types of promos.

And finally, courtesy of a reader, enter code 10052147865684 for 10 points at MCR.

Everything you need is here.
