Home Depot: Free Kids Workshop

I always mean to mention these and never get around to it but, if you have kids, both Home Depot and Lowe's run workshops to help the little critters learn to make things. This week is a cool Ice Age Bowling Game which, of course the kids get to keep. Oh, good, just what I need: more stuff.

You can read about Home Depot's extravaganza here.

Kellogg's Family Rewards: Shutterfly Code

Every once in a while, KFR throws out a Shutterfly code. this one will get you an 8X8 photo book. It says you should use it to relive your best summer memories but, since summer hasn't started yet, I'm guessing they'd be okay if you used it for something else.

No idea if it's one use only or good for everyone.

You'll still have to pay S&H, but it's a pretty good deal, regardless.

My Coke Rewards Updates

Apparently, MCR yas made some changes to the program. There doesn't look like anything dangerous in the changes, but I'll take a peek. I like the fact that they got rid of status.

Interesting that, of my six accounts, only one got the 15 point bonus. Coincidentally (or perhaps, not coincidentally), that account was the one with Gold status.

It's a little late in the month for Disney to be sending the mystery points, but I'll take them. Check your email for yours.

Recyclebank: Learn about E-Waste for 265 Points and Mickey Mouse gets you 130

At first I thought that this was going to be something to do with spam and couldn't figure out how it was an environmental hazard. Turns out I was wrong. Here's 265 points to learn how to throw out your phone.

That darned Mickey, he sold out to the environmentalists. But that means you get 130 points here.

Checkout 51

One of the easier ways to make free money is with apps that pay you when you purchase certain grocery items. I'm not talking about Mr. Rebates and its ilk, although I like those, as well. Rather, I'm talking about the Checkout 51 and Ibottas of the world. I've discussed both in the past, namely here and here. Buy a product that is being advertised (My list for the week has 29 items, including Bounty products, Ritz crackers and Gain laundry detergent, among others.) and scan the receipt for cash back. Since there are multiple programs out there that offer the the same rebates, you can actually get paid back for buying food.

If you are not a member of Checkout 51 yet, I would really appreciate it if you used my referral link. I get something when you upload your first receipt. Thank you! Feel free to add your own links in the comments section.
